Driver workflows, GPS tracking, and POD capture for asset-based fleets.
CarrierTool Mobile gives truckload drivers access to assigned loads, shipment details, status updates, operational GPS tracking, and document upload workflows from iPhone, Android phone, or tablet.
iPhone and Android workflows for truckload drivers.
CarrierTool Mobile is planned as a React Native app for iPhone, Android phones, and tablets. The MVP focuses on what drivers need every day: assigned loads, shipment status updates, live operational GPS tracking, and document capture.
MVP mobile scope
Driver login, current load, load details, status updates, POD/BOL upload, GPS tracking during active loads, and offline sync.
Assigned Load Visibility
Drivers can see current and upcoming assigned loads, pickup and delivery details, appointment times, contacts, notes, and special instructions.
Status Updates
Drivers can update shipment milestones such as arrived pickup, loaded, departed pickup, in transit, arrived delivery, and delivered.
Native GPS Tracking
CarrierTool Mobile provides operational GPS tracking while assigned to active loads, giving dispatch live shipment visibility without a separate GPS vendor.
Document Uploads
Drivers can capture and upload PODs, BOLs, fuel receipts, scale tickets, lumper receipts, and shipment photos directly from the mobile app.
Offline Sync
The app is designed to queue GPS events, status updates, and document uploads when cellular service is unavailable and sync when service returns.
PDocs AI Workflow
Uploaded documents can flow into PDocs AI for classification, load matching, billing packet assembly, search, retention, and audit history.
App distribution plan
For initial pilots, CarrierTool Mobile can be distributed through Apple TestFlight for iPhone and iPad users and Android internal testing or managed installation for Android users. The public app store release can follow after MVP validation and production hardening.
ELD and HOS clarification
CarrierTool Mobile GPS is intended for operational shipment visibility, dispatch tracking, and customer service. It is not positioned as a certified ELD replacement in the MVP. ELD/HOS visibility is planned as a future integration layer with supported ELD providers.
